Louise Ai Chang Liang RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

I was living in the City of Guangzhou in southern China prior to moving to Canada, I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

I have been living in Canada for 7 years employed in the food service industry. I became interested in Massage Therapy after I received a massage in Calgary.

In 2004, I registered at Mount Royal College and completed 1087 hour program which was extensive study in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology and Orthopedic Assessment. I also completed many hours in Advanced Massage Techniques and student clinic practicum.

After graduation in 2006, I worked for a short time in an Acupuncture Clinic providing therapeutic massages for Frozen Shoulder, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and Whiplash Injury.
At Back to Motion, I provide a deep tissue massage without the pain and stiffness normally felt a day later. Relaxation massage melts away stress, drains toxins from muscles and helps healing. I am specific and massage the areas requested by the patient.

My goal is to have happy relaxed patients who tell their family, friends and co-workers about their massage. I look forward to serving your needs on your next appointment and seeing you feel better.

Joshua Poirier
Regsitered Massage Therapist

Joshua graduated from the Mount Royal Massage Therapy Program in December 2006. This 1087 hour program focused on the treatment and rehabilitation of chronic soft tissue injuries.

The knowledge and training Josh received was the perfect asset to go along with his many personal experiences in massage and physiotherapy.

Since his graduation, he has been treating and helping clients recover from multiple types of sports/ work related injuries. The hardest challenge Josh had to face since starting massage was his work he did on students of the Alberta Ballet.

Josh's focus is on the long term wellness of the clients. Along with his treatments he also tries to educate about preventive measures and homecare (ice, heat, stretches) so the clients are part of their recovery.

Josh is also looking forward to working along side the other practitioners and staff at Back to Motion.

Dr. Joelle Worgan R.Ac
Registered Acupuncturist

Dr. Joelle Worgan grew up in Nelson BC, a town very open minded to alternative health and lifestyles, so the idea of becoming a healer came naturally to her. In 2002, she moved to Calgary and pursued a career as a pharmacy technician through an in-house pharmacy-training program. Despite having interest in alternative medicine, she learned about drug generics, chemical ingredients, and the associated conditions treated with these medications. This further intensified her desire to help people from a more natural approach.

In 2005, Dr. Joelle enrolled in the Acupressure Therapy program through Mount Royal College. This was an intriguing introductory to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) so the following 3 years were followed with intense educational training, and an internship at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and TCM where she studied anatomy, physiology, pathology, and the eastern courses of acupuncture, herbs, and Chinese fundamental theories, to name a few. In her third year of school, Joelle traveled to Hangzhou, China where she observed and practiced acupuncture and herbs in the hospitals and clinics. She returned to Calgary with a certificate for her clinical internship through the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and completed her Canadian program in 2009.

Being very passionate about helping people, Dr. Joelle provides assistance with her knowledge and uses her Acupuncture and TCM skills as tools for people to maintain optimum levels of health. She is strongly dedicated to the history of her practice and incorporates those philosophies into her treatments. The most important philosophy Joelle wants her patients to know regarding diet, exercise, and lifestyle is that you are your own best doctor.
