Did you know TCM Acupuncture can help relieve menstrual cramps?

TCM Acupuncture is a very specialized form of acupuncture that is based in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, (TCM). As such, it works very differently than acupuncture that focuses only on local pain management, and can help with all kinds of other ailments, especially period pain and other PMS symptoms.

Menstrual cramps can differ in intensity from mild discomfort to blinding pain, but there is no reason for anyone to have to suffer. Western Medicine identifies a number of causes for this pain, but typically can suggest pain killers or surgery as a solution.

TCM Acupuncture can help in a different way. A few painless and relaxing weekly treatments from a qualified professional, coupled with some easy to take herbal supplements, can significantly reduce and/or eliminate the pain of menstrual cramps in only a couple of months. The “side effects” of these treatments also tend to include a reduction of overall PMS symptom, such as tender breasts, mood swings, and depression.
